Two Atoms

Two atoms – and the Bond between
– You and I –
Cannot be seen
With naked eye

To You the closest I have felt
Like in You I am meant to melt –
I want that we be closer yet
Than two atoms can ever get

Dispensing with the hyperbol –
I crave my body, mind and soul
To bond with yours so close that we
Yet closer than two atoms be;

If Seconds be my Electrons –
That I must invest into the Bond –
I am prepared to squander mine:
Every unit of my Time –

Should You too share yours – some or all –
I want my body, mind and soul
To bond with yours so close that we
Still closer than two atoms be.
